Is your company’s inbox a ticking time bomb? That’s the theme of a presentation by Torquay web design boss Kevin King who was guest speaker at the Riviera International Conference Centre’s monthly business breakfast on Tuesday (October 5)
‘It’s very easy to miss important emails,’ says Mr King, ‘particularly complaints and urgent needs of clients, amongst the sheer volume of mail. Ignore them at your peril.
‘Your inbox is now the recognised way of your clients getting hold of you. An overcrowded inbox can very soon lead to poor customer service and as email is one of the main ways businesses communicate, this is a problem that has to to be addressed.’
Worse still, warns Mr King, because of the personal nature of e-mail communication, this problem can often get out of hand before senior members of the company know it even exists.
So what’s the solution? Drawing down on a decade of experience, Mr King will give a brief insight into some of solutions the Internet offers and his own experiences within Createanet, not only how to solve the problem but greatly improve customer service.
